The Noco 2A Direct-Mount Battery Charger, also known as the GENIUS2DUK, is a versatile onboard battery charger designed for year-round battery maintenance. It acts as a charger, battery maintainer, trickle charger, battery conditioner, and desulfator.
This device is ideal for use with 12-volt sealed lead-acid batteries, including types such as flooded, gel, AGM, EFB, SLA, VRLA, and maintenance-free batteries. The direct-mount design allows the charger to be securely fixed near the battery using a rugged snap-fit mounting bracket and truss-head self-tapping screws for easy installation into most materials. With an integrated thermal sensor, the charger adjusts the charging process according to the ambient temperature to prevent over-charging in hot conditions and under-charging in cold weather.
The charger can charge batteries as low as 1 volt and features Force Mode for manual control, which is effective for charging batteries down to zero volts. Additionally, the advanced repair and conditioner mode utilizes slow pulse reconditioner technology to combat battery sulfation and acid stratification, restoring lost battery performance for better engine starts and a longer battery lifespan.
