The Lang Tools Tap 12 x 1.5mm is designed for repairing damaged internal threads on nuts. This tool is ideal for chasing out damaged threads, removing nicks and burrs without undercutting the good threads.
It features a 6-point shape, allowing it to be used with a socket or wrench and light oil for smooth operation. This tap should not be used for cutting new threads.
It is highly tempered to ensure strength and durability and is finished with a gold zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance.
