The Lang Tools Tap 12 x 1.25mm is designed for the repair of damaged internal threads on nuts. This tool is ideal for chasing out damaged threads and removing nicks and burrs without affecting the integrity of good threads.
It features a 6-point shape, allowing it to be used with a socket or wrench and light oil for smooth operation. Please note, this tap should not be used for cutting new threads. It is highly tempered for strength and durability, and is finished with a gold zinc plating to resist corrosion and wear.
