The Lang Tools Die 10 x 1.5mm is designed for quick, on-the-job repairs of damaged threads on bolts and studs. This die helps chase out damaged threads and remove nicks and burrs without undercutting good threads.
It is shaped with a 6-point design, making it compatible with a socket or wrench, and should be used with light oil for optimal performance. This die is highly tempered for strength and durability and features a gold zinc plating for added resistance to corrosion and wear.
Note that it is intended for thread repair rather than cutting new threads.
