The GYS Battery Tester PBT 720 - Start/Stop is a versatile diagnostic tool for testing batteries, starters, and alternators across a wide range of vehicles. It supports 6 and 12 V battery tests, providing accurate voltage and state-of-charge readings.
For starter systems, it performs start-up voltage tests on 6 and 12 V systems. It also tests 6, 12, and 24 V alternators, measuring both no-load and under-load voltage, as well as current ripple under load. This tester is compatible with a variety of lead-acid batteries from 7 to 240 Ah, including sealed VRLA, GEL, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, standard liquid batteries, and Start/Stop batteries such as EFB and AGM.
Built for accuracy, it features automatic external temperature compensation and uses dynamic resistance measurement. This ensures reliable results that are not affected by surface charge, parasitic loads like lights or indicators, or common contact issues such as terminal oxidation or loose connections.
