Details
The CATU Pneumatic Glove Tester is designed for the compulsory control of insulating gloves before use. The testing process involves inflating and immersing the gloves in water. This device is recommended by the IEC 60903:2014 standard for the periodic testing of insulating gloves ranging from class 00 to 4.
The tester features a body made of molded thermosetting material, resting on a circular collar, and includes a frustoconical tip with two grooves to securely hold the glove during testing. A central piston is located at the base of the unit, while a soft valve is positioned at the bottom of the bowl. The insulating glove is kept in position during inflation by two elastic rings.
