The EV Car Fire Blanket is made from specialized quartz material with a silicon polymer coating, combining advanced fabric engineering for continuous high-temperature resistance. This blanket is designed to address fires commonly associated with electric or hybrid vehicles, particularly those caused by damage to the high-energy battery or manufacturing faults that lead to "Thermal Runaway."
Thermal Runaway occurs when a battery cell short circuits, generating heat that spreads the fire from cell to cell. Conventional methods are ineffective in extinguishing such fires, as the electrolyte in Lithium-Ion batteries contains hydrocarbon solvents that fuel the fire. By deploying the EV Car Fire Blanket, the fire’s combustion potential can be minimized by depriving it of oxygen, helping to rapidly lower temperatures and prevent damage to surrounding vehicles and property.
