For tools used continuously, such as grinders, it's recommended to lubricate them throughout the day. For tools used intermittently, like impact wrenches, lubrication should be applied one to two times per day. When storing tools for the weekend or longer, apply a generous amount of oil and run the tool for 15 seconds before putting it away.
